Abilities and Permissions WIP
All of her purely magical abilities are possible thanks to her mother's necklace.
🐙 Cecaelia
While on land, she sticks to a humanoid form, but the fact remains that she is half-octopus.
🐙 Sea Magic
🐚 Sea Life Mimicry; manifestation through swarms of fish and other sea life, using this for fight or communication.
🐚 Sea Life Control; communicating with sea creatures in the ocean, and willing them to do as she commands.
🐙 Water Magic
🐚 Water Manipulation; moving water with her mind, making water tornadoes, waves, bubbles, etc.
🐙 General Magic
🐚 Spell Casting; use of incantations and recitations to cast preexisting spells, and to assist in casting spells.
🐚 Shapeshifting; changing forms. She can become absolutely massive (bigger than a very large ship) while in her aquatic form (her lower half that of an octopus, her upper half humanoid). She can transform her body into literal water and manifest herself through it. Lastly, this shapeshifting isn't strictly limited to her own form - in the original canon, someone else's form can be what's changed.
🐚 Mind Control; she can mentally coax someone to mindlessly do whatever she desires they do.
🐚 Trait and Ability Theft; she can steal physical and non-physical traits from others (e.g. voice, appearance).
🐙 Mundane
🐚 Swordsmanship; very possibly one of her strongest skills. She's able to take on multiple people at once with only a sword to back her up. Given all magic is cut off from her home, this offensive skill is what she's had more experience with. She is a proper pirate, after all.
🐚 Singing; given all the myths surrounding merfolk and their songs, it's probably no surprise she has such a beautiful voice.
🐚 Dancing; she has quite a strong talent with dancing.
🐚 Art; both as a lover of art and an artist. She is talented at spray-paint art/graffiti.
🐚 Swimmer; given who her mother is, this should be considered a given.
🐚 Cooking; she helped her mother run a restaurant.
